So you’re like John Locke in the TV series Lost and Basically (literally) dying for an adventure. Or maybe you are bored to death and want to experience another life. Do not be afraid. You do not need to travel around the world to enjoy the adventures of the rainforests of Africa or South America. What should you do when you reach Alaska? Management Alaska. The 49th state and affectionately known as the Land of the Midnight Sun and the Last Boundary.
Many believe that Alaska derives its name from the Aleut word for “non-island country”, primarily because of the tundra in the centre, the distance to the lower 48 states, and the many stories you hear about it. It is usually associated with cold and snow and so-called large, deserted, open spaces. But you got it wrong.
Alaska – the largest province (by landmass) and the least densely populated – combines the scenic snowy view of the Alps with the challenge of an adventurous journey to the Congo.
Don’t believe me?
River fishing
When someone mentions Alaska, people usually visualize ice and frozen desert land. So it’s a little hard to imagine people being able to fish in such a place. But as I mentioned earlier, Alaska is a place full of adventurous activities, a great place to visit.
I do not mind because I have evidence.
For your Alaskan Fishing Adventure, you can test your luck: Silver salmon in Resurrection Bay in August and September, seeing any of the various precious fish, such as the King Salmon of the Lower Kenai River or the Red (Soki) Salmon from May to July. Kenny River Dolly Verdon and Rainbow Troupe.
Rafting
Yes, you can go to the contents of your heart. You can pretend to be a lone wanderer doing an adventure in the middle of many Alaskan animals and visiting and meeting the natural wonders of Alaska. Listen to the stories of the natives. Take a look at the Moose and Flat Eagles as you make your living in love while speeding along the Kenai River Canyon – a highly recommended and you will not want to miss.
Sea kayaking
A trip to Alaska can only give you this not-so-common adventure. that is not for the faint of spirit, and make sure you do not try this alone.
Backpacking
It would help if you achieved this adventure because there is nothing comparable to backpacking in Alaska. You can choose your adventure travel destination: Brooks Range, Arctic Refuge, Mount Tokydna, and Rangel-St. Elias, to name a few.
Dog Sledding
That is probably the most popular sport in Alaska and is worth telling your grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, barber or anyone listening. If you decide to do so, you can watchdog sledge races or try it yourself by crushing your group. Siberian Husky is highly trained, so you do not have to worry about your safety. Also, if you have time, you can visit the famous author, Husky owner and original Mary Shields of Alaska.
Exploration of Walrus Island
So you have not seen any of those beautiful furry creatures up close? Are you in more pain for an ocean adventure than a land one? Or maybe you want to watch. Do not be afraid because the island of Walrus in Alaska has it all. From the comfort deck of a yacht, you can see walruses, other marine mammals and rare bird species. But if you want a little more challenge, you can go on a mountaineering tour and see more of the Alaskan Wildlife.
So are you now convinced that a trip to Alaska is an adventure you should not miss? If you do not – I’m sure you’re wrong. The joke, however, is that before you book, make sure you have everything you need, such as clothing for a wide range of temperatures and a pair of comfortable climbing shoes.
Fjord Exploration
If you ever dreamed of experiencing the vastness of an honest glacier that could not be expressed in the pages of a book or a movie screen, where would Alaska be? Unless, of course, you like Greenland or Iceland for your icy adventure. I do not think so, .and many more reasons why they should be grateful to the State of Greater Alaska.

- I started this newsletter/website for fun. It all began when I e-mailed a few friends who traveled a lot, and wanted to earn as many miles as I did. We competed to see who could accrue more miles, and after kicking their butts (I learned a lot traveling 150,000 miles a year), I decided to be nice and help my friends out.
